Asbestos removal and asbestos disposal by Flintshaw Limited, London and Kent,

Flintshaw Ltd are committed to ensuring the highest quality work and safest working practices, offering asbestos removal and asbestos disposal at competitive rates from central London to Broadstairs.  Asbestos is a dangerous material that endangers both the health of the individual and the environment.  A large number of people die from asbestos related disease in the every year.  We are dedicated to ensuring the safety of the individual and the environment and we do not compromise on safety.

There are still large volumes of asbestos materials to be found within homes, places of work, institutions and so on.  Asbestos materials can be found in just about any construction and often in materials which many people would find surprising.  Asbestos may be found in floor tiles, walls, ceilings, textured coatings such as artex, insulations, roof sheets and many hundreds more items.

It is all too common that asbestos materials are unknowingly disturbed and contamination of the area with asbestos fibres occurs, creating a potential risk to health.

Flintshaw Limited was formed in 2002 to offer top quality service in all aspects of works with asbestos materials, such as asbestos removal, containment and asbestos disposal. In this short time the company has already developed a reputation for offering competitive high quality trouble free asbestos solutions for works of all sizes.

We are able to offer a full and comprehensive range of asbestos services throughout the London, Kent and the Home Counties including:

  • Consultancy services;

What is Asbestos ?

"Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral. It's properties include the ability to withstand heat and electrical currents. This made it very good for protecting buildings from heat and fire."*

Who's likely to be harmed?

"Repair and maintenance workers are most at risk. These people are most likely to disturb or damage asbestos containing materials and they often don't realise they are working on asbestos. The 'duty to manage' law is designed to protect these workers by requiring those poeple responsible for repair and maintenance to buildings to make sure they manage asbestos within that building."*
