WHY FLINTSHAW?

The company was created by managing director Nicholas Button, whom was later joined by his brother Lee. Both were former asbestos removal supervisors with many years experience. During many years in the trade unethical practices, unnecessary delays and unacceptable behaviours were observed. Short cuts were taken and often the standard of the asbestos works lapsed or was poor to start with. This was often due to poor planning, inexperience, or as a result of direct orders from the employer. A clear need was identified for an asbestos contractor in whom one could have complete confidence to carry out asbestos works to the highest standards without complications - a company who put your safety and the environment first.

Based on this ‘ethic’ the company developed and over time a number of experienced and qualified professionals with similar views have been attracted to the company.

Since its inception the company has gained a strong reputation for its safe, high quality standards of work at competitive rates and its ability to complete projects within specified time limits.  We will not compromise on safety issues and our prices always allow for following the correct procedures throughout the works quoted.

We pride ourselves that our staff are not only professionally trained and qualified to work with asbestos materials but that their appearance, organisation and general behaviour is also of a high standard. Our operatives are trained to the highest and most current standards. It is of the highest priority to us that our staff should have the minimum environmental impact possible on any site and that all their paperwork and equipment will be current and correct.
